In excellent, working condition. Stamped on the front: “Heathcott Sheffield” (1829- 1845) “8” to the rear. Original wedge, sole straight, and body free from distortion or perceptible worm. Middle pitch (55°). Sharpened and usable... further tweaking maybe required: to optimise cut, and refine profile to customer's preference.
