This may be the livery button of a widow - Marianne Burges (nee Johnstone) who married John Henry Burges, of Woodpark, Co. Antrim in 1794.  The quarterings being 1st and 4th Burges and 2nd and 3rd Browne with Johnstone in pretence.  Marianne was the eldest daughter and eventual co-heir of her father, Sir Richard Johnstone, of Gilford, Co. Down.  If the foregoing hypothesis is correct, I believe that the Burges arms were later altered, perhaps because the Burges arms as shown were borne without authority?
