Each of these ceramic Holt Howard candle holders with a round ribbed base were made in Japan in 1959. Each has a background of matte white with a red sprig of holly, green leaves with delicate green tendrils and a looped finger hold.
The bases are about 4-1/2 inches in diameter and the holders for the candle in the center is about 3/4 inch tall.
Both candleholders are in very good vintage condition - no chips, hairlines, or crazing - and ready to use or display.
