I can't really tell if this is hand-painted or stenciled although some of the decoration is bubbled and peeling this is a beautiful piece of Americana and the patina is so wonderful I could hardly stand it when I found it. Exquisite primitive birds and florals adorn it. The inside of the bucket is painted green.It measures 13 in tall and 12 in diameter top rim. The outside color on the background is an eggshell beige color. Lots of scrapes and little defects that only add to the condition and the look. The metal bands are Rusty and were nailed into place. Moisture has gotten into the seams and caused some bubbling of the decoration. Still, it is a beautiful find.
