I purchased this bike earlier this year as a - let’s say - 90% completed full restoration. Whilst most of the hard work had been done (engine rebuild, new wheels, panel and frame paint and major re-assembly), it was still missing many vital parts to complete the restoration. I have since spent over $1,500 (probably closer to $2k so I’m not making any profit with this sale) to purchase NOS items such as:

- internal exhaust baffle, muffler bracket and all the correct bolts to attach the baffle and spark arrestor to the exhaust pipe;
- brake pedal (an original used spare is also included), bushing, cable retainer, etc plus return spring and brake light switch spring;
- lower chain guard / guide;
- carburetor boot and new throttle cable assembly (carb & two stroke oil pump cables plus retaining clips);
- numerous correct NOS nuts and bolts to replace ‘generic’ type items that were used in the original restoration.

I also purchased an after-market but correct looking petcock, and a UNI air filter (which will need to be modified slightly) as NOS / OEM items are not currently available.

I haven’t been able to purchase a NOS upper chain guard, although this is only really necessary if you want to carry a pillion passenger. New OEM pillion foot pegs are currently fitted but I have the correct NOS bolt (two, actually) to bolt the lower chain guide to the swing arm without the current pillion setup.

Apart from that, the speedometer and tacho (and their cables), tool kit and repainted exhaust appear to be the original items so are amongst the minority of parts yet to replaced if you want a concours restoration for show only. There are also still a few non-OEM bolts and nuts that I haven’t replaced.

I haven’t yet filled the petrol tank or the two stoke oil tank (note that what appears to be a NOS oil pump is fitted and connected) to start the bike up, but it kicks over freely.
