dv cover on side of camera wont shut

have tried charging battery but wont hold charge

have tried powering on but still wont work - could be the battery and they are available on ebay

100 digtal zoom - sd card - mini dv tapes all can be used

comes with a charger - shows light but dont think it works

complete with carry case
