200'000 strips were printed and still exist, even if they were not distributed in Libya. Due to problems with the payment between the European Printer and the Libya Posts Company, the European Printer sent to Libya only a very limited quantity of stamps, and kept the remaining quantity waiting for the payment of the invoice. The payment was never made and the stamps remained in Europe.
So, as a matter of fact, a large quantity of strips MNH are available for the philatelic market through different philatelic channels. That's why, different dealers put them on sale at very variable prices. Even complete minisheets with five strips were on the market (!!!); it shows that the strips MNH are not so rare.
BUT only few FDC exist and we are the only dealer to put them on sale.
