I am selling some of my favorite pieces long held unto included
is this gorgeous Antique Nippon deep scalloped rim bowl marked
with the old "Maple Leaf" hallmark.
This antique Nippon bowl is decorated with blossoms of exquisitely
hand painted floral outlined and accented in gold. This pattern design
and deep bowl is a very rare find.
The bowl features bright colorful floral and leafage with an inner border
of raised gold small beading. There is a one inch wide enameled band
with colorful decoration
between this border and the rim, which is scalloped and has
a high raised beaded application enameled in gold.
To me, it is very unique piece of Nippon, just image the time
it took to create this work of art!
Condition: #696---- Outstanding; remember, this antique Nippon bowl is over 100 years old and has been well cared for and cherished, no damages, gold in very good condition, very little wear, no chips. Explore the accompanying photos to examine the / if any age-related wear, acknowledging that perceptions of acceptable wear can vary among collectors.
