Original Nintendo  Vidpro Display Card

for NES 8 bit

Remember when the original Nintendo Entertainment System released in 1985?

No? Then you are too young. Anyway, what we have here is an original Vidpro Display Card.

What's that? Well back when the NES 8 bit system sold only at places like Toys R Us, KB Toys and a few other limited retailers they use to have these Vidpro cards on display so you could see what game you wanted to buy. Then there was a ticket at the bottom of the Vidpro card to take to the counter to get your game.

These Vidpro cards were only sold to a licensed Nintendo retailer of which we were one of them called "The Ultimate Game Club" but that's another story. Many of these cards were issued before the game actually released so sometimes the artwork is different than the official version making it even more rare.

Anyhow we have the original cards that were removed from our store in Old Saybrook CT and will one by one list them up on ebay to sell. They are extremely rare and no one anywhere has them because they are over 20 years old and Toys R Us and the like destroyed all they had as games got discontinued etc. Consumer's could not buy these cards! PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FRONT OF THESE CARDS ARE SLIGHTLY FADED DUE TO SITTING IN OUR STORE FOR 15 YEARS BUT THE BACK'S OF THE CARDS LOOK NEW LIKE THE DAY THEY WERE PRINTED.

This is your chance to own a piece of Nintendo History and buy the 1 and only Vidpro card left on the planet for your favortie NES game and frame it on the wall. The card basically is a slightly smaller size(4" X 6") than the original Nintendo game and has a picture of the front and the back of the box on a 2 sided card, much like a Giant Trading Card. Shown in our picture is just the back so you can verify it is a Vidpro card. If you look close you will see Vidpro Dallas Toronto in the lower right corner. Here is your chance to collect every Vidpro card ever made starting with this one.  Good luck!

Please note that the front of the Vidpro card is slightly faded from sunlight or flourescent light by sitting in the store for 15 years. The front of the card will not be as crisp and bright looking.
