The  AccuSpark®  Distributor comes ready fitted with the AccuSpark® electronic ignition module . 

This is a quality item and we have fitted dozens of units in our own workshop
This gives excellent all round performance with notable gains
The Hall effect trigger and module givebetter spark voltage improving starting , tickover , and MPG .

The Lucas 45D4 distributor body offers a number of improvements over the old  25d Models 

Solid mounting area prevents crushing when the mounting ring is tightened 
A longer rotor arm allows greater spacing of ignition wires that helps prevent arking 
an improved cam profile (  only relevant when points fitted ) 

This is a good as other systems costing between 3 and 6 times as much .

Comes with 

AccuSpark  Red  High Power  3ohm  Sports COIL Suitable For  all 12 volt  ignition systems with Push in HT connections.
Ideal for use with  our electronic ignition kits 

This is not suitable for Ballast ignition unless modified . 

If fitted to a ballast ignition the resister or ballast wire must be bypassed , this can be done by taking a 12 Volt feed direct from the fuse box .
