1 Pack of 6 Brand New Bolt for AVM and ROK Hubs
By popular demand I have rounded up spare bolts for these hubs.
These are impossible to get at your local bolt shop. The cone head makes them quite unique.
You need a T15 star shape screw driver for these. These tools are readily available at all tool shops and auto accessory shops. I got mine from Bunnings tool section.
It's made out of steel in a black finish.
Looks to be 4mm x 42mm total length. Thread is 25mm long, 10mm of plain shaft and then 7mm of tapered cone.
Fits every AVM and ROK hub I stock.
They do not have to be very tight. Their purpose is to just hold the face of the hub on and there is no out wards force so these screws are not loaded with weight or force. So just tight enough so they don't come loose. Because they often go into alloy and these are steel a drop of copper grease on the thread is a good idea to prevent corrosion and the screws getting stuck.
If your old screws just will not come out you can use an "easy out" tool set and that works a treat every time. Also available in bunnings these srew into a hole you drill in the end of the screw and they tighten by turning the opposite way and eventually the screw comes free. Hope that little tip works.
