THE PAPER HOUSE by Francoise Mallet-Joris

Translated by Derek Coltman

Published by Farrar, Straus & Giroux in 1971 - First Edition - First Printing

This is a fascinating and amusing look at the life in the home of the author and her family including her husband, painter Jacques Delfau, and their four children, as well as their maid and her baby.  The book is in very  good condition;  the spine is tight, and the cover has minor shelf wear including scuffing and/or bumping. The pages are clear and easily readable with minimal yellowing; the endpaper has apparently been cut.  The dust jacket is unclipped with minor chipping and is in very good condition.  There is a gift inscription on the first title page.

This is a delightful book, and it would be an excellant addition to anyone's book collection.

The book is about 6" x 8-1/2" x 1", 250 pages and about 1-2 lbs.+/-  with packaging.
