Topnotch barbeque plates and baking dishes are manufactured from a special grade of heat transferring stainless steel. It is the composition of the material which gives the Topnotch Stainless Steel Hot Plates the special ability to transfer and retain heat as well as being corrosion resistant. Topnotch Barbeque Plates are paint & chemical free, and extremely durable.

Drain slot is 40mm from the outside of the plate to the center of the drain slot, and runs along 465mm side

Corners are welded and ground for a smooth , no leak finish.

BEWARE of imitation plates that have the fat/drain slot in the center of the top of the plate. Having the slot in the top location may drop fat and food directly onto your burners thus clogging up the holes in the burner, reducing the life of the burner and increasing the risk for fat fires.

please note: you cannot expect the same cooking performance from other plates sold in stores or online made from other grades of stainless steel such as 304, 316, as they do not have a sufficient amount of ferretic/ magnetic material in them to absorb and transfer heat.

How do I choose the correct product for my barbeque?

To find your correct size of replacement cooking surface, simply measure your existing Barbeque Plate and Grill.

Once you have established the total cooking surface, you can then decide on your preferred combination. You may like to keep the same size Plate & Grill, or you may have more Plate or more Grill surface. You can also divide it into Plate/Grill/Baking You may like to keep the same size Plate & Grill, or you may have more Plate or more Grill surface. You can also divide it into Plate/Grill/Baking dish combination.

Most Barbeques are a standard depth of 485mm. (Some brands like Everdure, Webber and Rinnai may vary in depth.) The Topnotch™ team will be happy to assist you.

You have a standard 4 Burner Barbeque.

Your old Plate measures 400 mm long and 485 mm in width.

The Grill is 400 mm long and 485 mm wide.

You have established, that the total cooking surface is 800 mm wide x 485 mm deep
