You may have noticed that with your stock lens, that the colors are not true color, when used outside. This lens is the solution to improving the overall video quality on your Foscam.
We have three different versions/filters for this lens, this lens is Version 1.
Version 1: DAY lens, which is perfect day colors but no infrared will work with it.
Version 2: NIGHT lens, which is the highest sensitivity, cleanest video for infrared but daytime colors will be wrong. IE: Red will be pink & green will be white, etc.
Version 3: DAY/NIGHT lens, infrared will work great & daytime will have better color but still not quite true colors.
TO CHANGE THE LENS:
You must thread out your original lens & thread in our new lens. You can use the live feed feature to focus the new lens.
