<> THE PRIMO STORY <>

PRIMO is a safe colourful toy made by LEGO for very young children. These blocks and components are chunky and easy to handle and build with as the system utilises a large, rounded single stud to "lock" pieces in place. Made from bright colours; red, green, yellow and blue, these will blocks attract and interest any young child.

PRIMO is made by Lego using quality materials which are completely washable. It a very safe and well designed toy for babies and young children. 

PRIMO blocks will easily engage with other PRIMO blocks and lock onto any 2x2 duplo brick. DUPLO bricks can be easily integrated using an adaptor brick which has a PRIMO stud connector on the bottom and 2x2 DUPLO sized studs on the top. (Because they are designed for small children they do not "lock" as well as other Lego bricks).

A Little History - This style of Lego was sold first as "DUPLO Primo" (1995 - 1996) then as "Lego Primo" (1997 - 1999) and became "Lego Baby" from 2000. The "Lego Baby" line was combined with the "Lego DUPLO" line to become "Lego EXPLORE" during 2002 till mid 2004. Lego reused "Lego Baby" again from mid 2004 until it was discontinued in 2006.
