I have what I believe is the only copy of a Willys promotional book that was designed and produced to sell more Jeeps, and variations to the U.S. Army. It is a 52 page spiral bound book, that I estimate was produced somewhere around January of 1943, with 30 full page photos inside. The original copy of "The Mighty Jeep" has a color cover with "Confidential" printed in bold letters, and underneath that it states "Suggestion by Willys-Overland Motors, Inc. for General J. A. Christmas". I was told that General Christmas was in charge or Ordnance Procurement during the time this book was produced, and there may have been only one copy ever made, or very few others since his name was hand written on the original cover. The pages and photos inside are all Black and White. I reproduced a small quantity of this rare book, taking care to make it the same as the original, to resell to Willys Enthusiasts. You can have a copy for your collection for $45.00, plus $6.95 Priority Mail Shipping within the U.S. Shipping outside the U.S. is available at cost. This is a very cool book with lots of information on production information and dates, with prototype information on "The Light Jeep", and "The Super Jeep", with other variations. Questions will be answered promptly. Thank you.
