Up for auction is the Yamaha Disklavier Record/Playback Test Disk. This is part of the starter kit that came included with many Disklaviers that have a 3.5" floppy drive. This is a great addition for those that have purchased their pianos used or those that came without this disk and would like to make their collection complete. Included with the disk is a jewel case with format instructions inside. (Note: The disk is already preformatted to Yamaha's proprietary eSeq format and is ready for recording. The format instructions in the inside sleeve are for formatting the disk after you have already recorded tracks on it and want to erase it again.) It has been tested to work on an mx100 with built in control unit. It is also recognized by the DSR1 unit (with XG tone generator) but you will need to cover the hole in the bottom right of the disk (opposite the hole with the write protect slide tab) with a piece of tape. If the diskette does not work initially or says "Unformatted Disk", try taping over the hole.
