This listing is for a beautiful cut glass lay-down scent or perfume bottle with Sterling Silver top, c. 1875-1880. The bottle is made of clear crystal with an all-over cut design in a "cane" pattern with rounded panel cut end. The bottle is embellished with a domed shaped screw-on Sterling Silver top with fancy engraved 3-letter undetermined monogram in center (very faint). Lid is unusually heavy and has remainder of original cork interior designed to prevent leakage.
Measures 7 1/4" long and 1 1/2" in diameter. Total weight of bottle is 8.3 ounces.
The bottle is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Lid is stamped "Sterling" and is free of any dents or dings.
