Description: Fully ground, Quality, HSS, PARALLEL TAP (has a taper lead along 1-2 threads; for Through holes and making Finish/final cut in blind holes).  This tap could be used as last cut after TAPER AND/OR SECOND - depending on material - cut tap used if full depth tapping is requirement in blind holes. Mind the tap will leave 1-2 thread long non-, or partly threaded part at the bottom of hole (it is normally fine as external threads has chamfer on them). For general purpose and materials: mild, low carbon, and low alloyed steels, brass, bronze, cast aluminium, some plastics.
