Description: Beautiful solid silver cake server made in Imperial Russia in early 1900.
Marked with 84 Russian - this mark with "SR" was in use in Poland that was a part of Russian Empire at the time. There is a makers mark "B" but I was unable to identify the silversmith.
Very traditional cake server with thin blade and solid handle. The blade is engraved with a picture of a young boy holding a basket full of fruit. Fantastic engraving work - absolutely astonishing craftsmanship.
Good condition - the blade is dented (see pics.) but there is no losses, tears or repairs of any kind. It is a little over 11" long, 3.6 oz (100 gr.) weight.
