The Pixapro Hinged Boom Stand with counterweight is ideal for many professional applications in film and photography business.
This Aluminium boom stand features a heavy duty two-sectioned stand with a wide base footprint for added stability. This stand also features a detachable boom arm and is supplied with a 4kg cast iron counterweight which is used to counterbalance the stand and prevent it from tipping over.
The boom arm itself features metal hinge a joint which attaches to the main tripod part of the stand. The boom has a telescopic design and is made up of two sections, which can be extended up to 220cm in and will support loads up to 7kg. The boom is also equipped with an interchangeable 1/4 and 5/8 inch spigot for mounting your lights to. This boom arm also features a grip handle, allowing you to rotate the boom arm with ease.
