"Hemianthus callitrichoides is one of the smallest aquarium plants in the world, and creeps over the bottom with millimetre-sized round leaves. If planted in small clumps a few centimetres apart, it will spread rapidly and cover the bottom like a carpet. Hemianthus callitrichoides is an attractive foreground plant for small aquariums. Found on Cuba west of Havana. It grows best in water above 26⁰. Therefore the correct water temperature will determine the success of this plant. "

Most of  in vitro plants are completely without the roots becouse they don't need it in tissue culture, but after planting the roots grow after a few days.

Plants will need time to adapt to new conditions in the aquarium and release new underwater leaves and the color of plants is mainly dependent on fertilization.

Ease of use: ADVANCED - for planting you need a tweezer and scissors, - for rapid growth you need Co2, good substrate and light, fertilizers and knowledge.

How to plant in vitro plants ? 
Please follow the short instructions:

1. Gently wash plant from gel or liquid under cold tap water,
2. Split plants into smaller parts (use scissors - usually used for carpet plants - e.g. Hemianthus, eleocharis etc),
3. Plant the plant in the aquarium (use tweezers).

How we post plants

24h dispatch (usually the same day dispatch if ordered before 2pm). We are experienced in packing plants to avoid any damage during transport and to reduce the cost of postage. Plant will be packed in a plastic bag inside carton box (usually large letter) posted 24h Royal Mail. We spend more time on packing plants which ensures that you receive the plants in a very good condition, not damaged by the pot or not mixed with gel (in-vitro).  Therefore, the plants are sent without pots, cups.
