Description

Quality Reproduction of the WW1 Hanseatic Cross award of Lubeck.

These are great reproductions of the Military Orders introduced by the Three Hanseatic City-States of Bremen, Hamburg andLubeckin 1915. They were the Hanseatic equivalents of the Prussian Iron Cross, and were earned through merit and bravery in war.

This is the Lubeck version of the medal, which features the Double Headed Eagle arms of Lubeck at the centre. The reverse features the words "Fur Verdienst im Kriege", meaning "For Merit in War", alongside the date 1914.
