This Kirby Part fits all Generation models, the Diamond Edition and Sentria I and Sentria II and Avalir.

Kirby Motors, on high speed rotate at 16,600 RPM. At this speed a heavy solid object sucked through the fan causes damage, often breaking a blade. If your Kirby sounds like a thrashing machine you probably have a broken fan.

This fan (impeller) is made of Kevlar, and is tougher than the aluminum and lexan fans that were installed on all but the newest Kirbys. This assembly comes complete with the pulley, spacer and washers. Installing a fan requires some mechanical aptitude, and on later models torx screws are used. You may need 15mm and 20mm torx tips for your magnetic screwdriver. They are now in common usage and can be purchased at any auto or hardware store. You will also need a silicon or latex caulk to reseal the fan case.  Instructions will be sent with the fan.
