It does not contain nitrates or phosphates. Promotes rooting plants and makes beautifully grow.Lightweight, highly porous substrate, through which nutrients easily reach directly to the roots of plants. This facilitates water flow through the substrate, which is associated with increased levels of oxygen and prevents the formation of anaerobic areas. A large active surface - porous - is a place of development of nitrifying bacteria, which are responsible for breaking down toxic compounds in the aquarium.
