Temporiti S-type brakes are typically fitted to woodworking machines although there are many other applications.  They are a spring-applied, electromagnetic brake that bring a rotating shaft to a halt in a short period of time.   They are not designed for instant-stop applications.

The complete brake comprises the coil with armature plate (friction material on the armature plate), fan wheel/brake disc, spring, grub screw and nyloc nut. 

The brakes are supplied from our stock in UK as standard with a 200V DC coil.  If you have a 230V AC supply you will need a full-wave rectifier (e.g. Temporiti AN4 rectifier) to achieve the correct voltage.  If you have a 415V AC supply you will need a half-wave rectifier (e.g. Temporiti AS4 rectifier) to achieve the correct voltage.
