MALAWI FLAKE
Is a multi-ingredient flake food for everyday feeding of Malawi cichlids of the mbuna group and other herbivorous cichlids. A very diversified formula guarantees excellent condition, beautiful coloration and stimulates breeding. Fibre and nettle regulate the activity of the long digestive track of Malawi cichlids. Green pea and spirulina are the source of easily-assimilable protein. Wheat germs provide valuable unsaturated fatty acids. L-carnitine encourages fat metabolism. MALAWI is extremely palatable and hence eagerly eaten by the fish, even the imported ones. 

FEEDING: several times per day using small portions which the fish can eat quickly. The food contains minimal amount of NaCl (<0.2%). 

Ingredients: vegetable protein extracts, fish and fish derivatives, cereals (oat meal min. 10%), molluscs and crustaceans, derivatives of vegetable origin (green pea meal min. 4%, nettle meal min. 3.75%, wheat germ min. 3.2%, spinach meal min. 2.25%), algae (Spirulina platensis min. 3%), yeasts, oils and fats, minerals. 

Additives: Vitamins, pro-vitamins and chemically well-defined substances having similar effect: vit. A 32 000 IU/kg, vit. D3 1 900 IU/kg, vit. E 120 mg/kg, vit. C 440 mg/kg, L-carnitine 250 mg/kg. 

Compounds of trace elements: E1 iron 48.6 mg/kg, E6 zinc 13.5 mg/kg, E5 manganese 10.1 mg/kg, E4 copper 2.43 mg/kg, E2 iodine 0.3 mg/kg, E8 selenium 0.3 mg/kg, E7 molybdenum 0.06 mg/kg, E3 cobalt 0.02 mg/kg. Lecithin. Colourants. Antioxidants.

MALAWI CHIPS  
Is a multi-ingredient food in the form of tiny, slowly sinking chips for Malawi cichlids of the mbuna group and other omnivorous and herbivorous cichlids. A diversified formula ensures excellent condition and splendid coloration in fish. The size and shape of the chips are adjusted to cichlids’ mouths, hence promote active feeding and proper chewing of the food. Fibre and nettle regulate digestion. The food contains various sources of easily assimilable vegetable protein, such as green pea and spirulina. Kelp algae (Ascophyllum nodosum), rich in natural mineral salts (including iodine) and vitamins, improve fish’s immunity. Wheat germs provide valuable unsaturated fatty acids. L-carnitine addition encourages fat metabolism.
