This listing is for an unusual small Sterling Silver tray with engraved decoration by the Mount Vernon Silver Company, c. 1922.
 
The Mount Vernon Silversmiths of Mount Vernon, NY (1903-1923) were purchased by GORHAM in 1923. 
 
This lovely tray has an intricately engraved design with two cartouche. Left cartouche with engraved monogram "F" and right side cartouche with date "1922". Perfect size to use as a card tray or as an under tray/plate for sauce boat.
 
The tray measures 8 1/8" long and 5 3/8" wide. Weighs 4 ounces. 

Marked with Mount Vernon trademark stamp,"Sterling" and "N55".

  The condition is excellent with no dents, dings or restorations although there are minor signs of normal wear.
