This Centauro top end gasket set is suitable to fit the Yamaha, liquid cooled, four stroke*, Transverse four cylinder, DOHC, 5 valves per cylinder 1003cc engine. Some of the individual gaskets will also fit other Yamaha models that share the same engine unit or components

• Centauro gasket materials will endure high combustion temperatures, high combustion/explosion pressures, and rigidity-loss of cylinder head (aluminum alloy) and cylinder block.

Joint Sheet Gaskets :	Composite material of heat-resistant fibers, speciality synthetic rubber and inorganic matrix. This composite offers high resistance to lubrication oil, gasoline, engine coolants, and water. This composite is designed to offer the optimum mechanical properties required for gaskets.
Metal Gaskets :	Metal gaskets are made of laminated mild steel and stainless steel plates. Selection of an exact combination of metal materials, thickness and design construction is the key to Centauro gaskets precision sealing and durability.

Ease of fitment

The fitment of these gaskets should be undertaken by a qualified or competent fitter, the OE manufacturers fitment guidelines should be adhered to at all times, please refer to the manufacturers workshop manual for fitment information & tools required for the job.
