This listing is for a lovely Victorian Period (c. 1880-1900) pickle castor with "Brooklyn" silver plated stand and Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) insert.
 
Measures 10" high and 5" wide. Weighs 1.6 pounds.
 
Unusual Brooklyn silver plated stand is decorated with a embossed design with finger hold across the top and embossed decorated trim on sides. The stand is in excellent condition with no noted flaws. Marked on base "Brooklyn Silver Co., Quadruple Plate". Tongs included.
 
  Beautiful early pattern glass insert with unidentified floral and medallion design. The glass is in very good condition although there is a very small sliver/chip on the interior upper rim (see photos). No other noted damage.
