Our handmade carpeted wood pet ramps are designed to allow your dog or cat easy access to your sofa or bed. Created in all new materials and beautifully finished in quality household carpet, our handmade pet ramps are sturdy yet lightweight and portable and will make the perfect accessory for your pet and addition to your home. We have a range of standard sized pet ramps or we can custom make a ramp to your individual size, design or colour.

We've created four standard ramps in four heights which match with most furniture around the house as follows: -
12” (30cm) high - For low sofas and chairs
15" (38cm) high - For sofas and chairs
18" (46cm) high - For high sofas and low beds
24” (61cm) high - For higher beds
The 18" and 24" ramps come in two and three sections respectively, which you can position in either a straight line or 'dog-legged' around the corner of a sofa or bed if space is limited.

Our Dachshund ‘Archie’ found it very frustrating that he never got the best seat in the house and the size of his legs (shh! don’t tell him, he thinks he’s a Great Dane) meant that he couldn't climb onto the sofa to watch his favourite TV shows, ‘Dachshund Abbey’ and ‘Silent Woofness’ (sorry!)
To make it easier for Archie we decided to build him a ramp. After a little tempting with some tasty treats and once he’d realised he wasn't being made to take part in a crazy indoor carpeted ski-jump contest, Archie can now climb up when he’s looking for some comfy sofa time and likes to slide back down on his belly when it’s time for food (a strict diet of German sausages of course).
If you have a vertically challenged hound, perhaps a cat who is far too dignified to leap up on anything or an old friend in need of a helping paw then perhaps you’d both like a ramp to make the route to your lap a far simpler and safer one.

Is the ramp cleanable?
We know that paws get muddy sometimes, that's why the carpet we use is classed as bleach-cleanable. Of course, to keep paws in tip-top condition, we wouldn't recommend using a bleach soluition to clean the carpet. Should your ramp need a spruce-up then we recommend using a brush to remove any pet hair and then a wipe over with a weak solution of washing detergent and water.
I can’t decide on the colour I’d like; can you send me carpet samples?
Yes, we can send you samples of our carpet free of charge. If the colours don't fit the bill we can even work together to find the perfect match.
I have some carpet remnant; can I have my ramp carpeted with this?
Certainly, just let us know the size ramp you’d like and we'll tell you the size of carpet required so that you can arrange to send some to us.
Can I mix and match the carpet choice?
Yes, we can carpet your ramp using one colour choice for the back and sides and another colour for the ramp surface. Just let us know which two colours you’d like when placing your order.
Does the ramp have a base?
We purposely make our ramps without a base as it’s not required for the rigidity of the ramp and also ensures they’re as lightweight as possible. If you would rather add a base then please let us know after placing your order and we’ll let you know the additional cost.
I’m not sure if my pet would be able to manage the angle of the ramp?
The angle of our standard ramps is 30° which means it's towards the lower end of the guidelines for UK staircase design. This angle is suited to the majority of pets but if your dog or cat has severe joint or muscle weakness then please let us know and we can offer you a choice of gentler gradients.
I have limited floor space available for a ramp.
The good thing about the 2 section design of the 46cm (18”) and 3 section design of the 61cm (24”) ramp models is that they can either be placed in a straight line or angled around the corner of your sofa or bed to take up slightly less space.

Since I made the first ramp for our Dachshund, Archie in 2015 their popularity has grown and grown, mainly through recommendation from customers who've appreciated the time and attention to detail that goes into each ramp and the quality of the finished ramp. This has ultimately meant that I have a continual order list I'm working through, By placing an order you will therefore secure your place in that list.
As a guide, my order list means that delivery time is currently around 10-12 weeks.
