For your consideration is a RARE vintage Sanrio My Melody Mascot Whistle - in its original clear vinyl sleeve.  Attached to the chain of the whistle is a RARE My Melody 1976 Pink Basket Secret Lock.

The whistle is pink plastic with My Melody on one side and Flat the blue mouse on the other side.  The whistle is marked Sanrio.  Attached to the whistle is a pink plastic chain and clasp. The clasp pulls apart to hook it on something. The whistle part comes in its original clear sleeve.  The sleeve is marked "MASCOT WHISTLE, Sanrio, 1.00 JTKH, 0.85 US, Made in Japan, Copr 1976, Sanrio Co. Ltd."  The whistle measures about 1 1/2" and 3 3/4" with the chain. The whistle works.

The pink basket is the 1976 My Melody Mascot secret lock.  It does not have its key.  It is pink plastic with yellow and pink flowers and blue leaves. My Melody's head is sitting in the basket. It measures 1 3/4" tall and 1 1/4' wide.
