Excellent pencil / charcoal drawing as shown on an old book page.
Info on page: Drawing for a war fund poster by L. Pasternak.
This is the original page from the old book -- not a copy or duplicate
I recently purchased a 25-year collection of magazines, art, advertisements, book plates, bulletins, programs, booklets, etc. from a local collector. This page is from that collection. Penciled on back of page is '16. I am assuming that he dated this page when he removed it from the old book. I don't know what the book was, or exact date, other than his date placed on the page. 1916 timing would be about correct for this artist. I also included a photo of the opposite side of the page. It has an illustration and two columns of text at bottom. Page heading says "Studio-Talk."
Page size is 8" x 10". Actual drawing size is 5" x 8". It would look great matted and framed.
I'll place the page inside a plastic sleeve and secure to a piece of white foam board for stability. Mailing will be by USPS First Class inside a bubble envelope. I'll mail same day, or next day after PayPal payment is received.
