Mains water contains Chlorine, Chloramines and Heavy Metals that are not suitable for a healthy and balanced pond or Aquarium.
De-Chlorinators are used to remove harmful chlorine, Chloramines and other impurities from mains tap water when refilling a pond or aquarium.
This is very important as failure to do this can result in fish health problems and it also adversely affect the growth of beneficial bacteria in all filters.
The De-Chlorinator simply connects in-line to a hose pipe with standard hose fittings. The carbon block filter removes the toxins in tap water prior to it coming into contact with your fish and filters.

High quality Coconut carbon block mix with silver made of a mixture of NSF approved activated carbons and a special filtration media Zeolite.
Products efficiently reduce chlorine, organic substances, certain pesticides and improve taste and aroma of filtered water. Cartridges reduce water hardness and the concentration of heavy metals. They are dedicated for cold water filtration.
In order to improve the water purification process, a mixture of bituminous and coconut
shell carbons is utilized. Both comply to the strict standards of the National Sanitation
Foundation (NSF). Due to the unique formula the carbon block cartridges are capable of water softening and scale prevention and reduction in addition to traditional product competencies. They also remove heavy metals from water (i.e. lead, copper, mercury) as well as radioactive particles (cesium, strontium). These cartridges are excellent for taste and odour improvement.

To remove Chloramines it’s important to have a long contact time with the activated carbon filter, the longer the water takes to pass through the filter, the greater the benefits of the purification system. A flow rate of 5-10 ltrs per minute should adequately remove toxins and the filtered water can then safely be added into your pond or aquarium filtration system.

All stock items are usually dispatched the same day if ordered before 2pm.
Delivery is normally within 1-3 working days (uk) from cleared payment except where stated and we use Royal Mail service in the UK and Parcelforce for EU/ROW & Next day Special Delivery.
We want you to be satisfied every time you shop with us. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the goods purchased you may return them at your postal cost within a reasonable time from receipt of the goods. You must return your goods within 30 days from delivery. If however the goods are faulty then the postage costs will be refunded.
It is your responsibility to take care of the goods. It is vital that you enclose a covering letter with the returns detailing your order number, name, full address, and reason for return (please also specify whether you require an exchange or refund). We recommend that you use Recorded Delivery, as proof of shipping is not proof of receipt.

Can I return it if there’s nothing wrong with it?
Absolutely! We offer a 30 day returns guarantee on all our products. (We’re nice like that.) So if you need to send it back for whatever reason no worries.
If you’ve had it less than 30 days…
We’ll happily let you return or exchange the item. If the item is faulty or not what you ordered or decided you do not now want to keep it,
you’ll get the choice of a replacement or refund, and if Faulty or not what you ordered we’ll refund the return delivery charge also.
If the product is not faulty and you would still like to return it, the product should be unused, in its original packaging and in a re-sellable condition

I posted my item for a refund/replacement. What happens now?
As soon as we get the item back, we'll sort out your refund or replacement - Just allow for postage time - as soon as we have it we'll start the refund. It may take a few days to appear in your account (depending on your bank).
