Hello!  Up for auction here is a vintage/antique, hand painted mask from India.  This is my first rodeo with masks and these are amazing, (I say these because I have five other masks like this up for auction at the moment!)

This mask is an old man with three gold nuggets on his parted,  red lips.  He is also adorned with golden ear lobes red lines that define his face and red nostrils.  He has white eyebrows and eyeliner and tufts of white hair, which I believe is rabbit fur.  There is some soiling on the fur, but overall is in good condition.

Mask measures 7 1/2" by 5 1/2".    There are cracks and crazing through-out on the paint and some minor flaking . The mask is a little dusty but I  did not want to wash it so I left it as I found it.  He differs from all the other masks as his paint in not the same and the structure of the mask is of more sturdy.  I haven't found anything quite like him anywhere, very unique and well made piece.
