This 24k pig weighs 3.75 grams usually given to a baby on their 1st birthday as gifts.
These items are not worn but are a gift and type of investment. 
On the under side of the pendant, 999 is stamped, marking its purity.
The pendant is attached to a elastic red and blue band that represents the colors of South Korea.

Koreans have valued gold for centuries and it has been a long lived tradition to give out gold rings & pigs to babies celebrating their first birthday. The gold pig usually signifies wealth, good fortune, and hope for prosperous life.  Most families typically have about 5 to 15 dol items that they have received as gifts. Customarily, these gold items are kept in a safe place until the child reaches adulthood. Usually, parents will later melt the gifts into a necklace or a larger piece of jewelry and give it to the child when they are older.

Payment:  Currently, we are only accepting Paypal through our Ebay store.   Once you have bid on our item, you are obligated to purchase the item .  For precious metal items, regardless of price fluctuations, once you have bid on our item, the prices are locked in and we require payment within 3 days of the purchase.  On the other hand, we will not cancel your order once it is locked in and paid for.
