Since its establishment as a die casting manufacturer in HIROSHIMA in
December 1943, Ryobi Limited has accumulated innovative technologies by
making components for automobiles, electronics, telecommunications and

In November 2008, JOHSHUYA company and WEIHAI RYOBI INTERNATIONAL TRADING CO., LTD reached agreement that WEIHAI RYOBI INT'L was authorized to manufacture, sell and operate RYOBI fishing tackle products worldwide (excluding Japan Market).

Oasys
This is one of the most famous models of the company. A universal reel
with a front and a modern design of the spool that makes it stand out.
Its hybrid design is a combination of duralumin in a slightly darkened
color with a graphite ring, which uses "wooven carbon" technology. Oasys
will be available in two basic sizes: 2000 and 3000.
Its main features are:

-Metal body construction;
-Ryobi ELAM system that provides more accurate and equal winding of braided lines and nylon lines on a spool;
-patented locking system based on a reverse eight-rolller thrust bearing;
-all ball bearings are made of high quality stainless steel;
-element of the main gear using CNC technology;
-duralumin-graphite spool;
