This listing is for a lovely vintage Lalique frosted glass "Roses in Relief" covered box. Oval box measures 3 1/2" high, 7" long and 5 1/4" wide. Weighs 3.6 pounds. Design features roses/vines in relief across top of box extending down onto sides. Box has gilt brass bands on top and bottom with hinge. Originally designed by R. Lalique and issued as a covered box (no bands or hinge). Design introduced in 1913 and later reissued as a hinged box.
Etched signed "Lalique France" on the base with original number label "10578". The piece is in very good condition, there is a tiny nick underneath the banding on the bottom piece back side (see photos) no other chips or cracks.
