This is the ultimate guide to fishing for trout with illustrations of typical trout pools and precise advice on fishing, including how to "read the water",  how to wade in, where to cast from, and the proper sequence to use.   The author is a noted field and wildlfe guide and the author or a number of books, including Book of American Wildlife, Complete Guide to Fresh and Salt Water Fishing, Young Sportsman's Guide to Fly Fishing, and Spinning in America..  The book is in very good condition;  the cover is clean with minor scuffing and/or  bumping.  The spine is tight and the pages are clear and sharp. The dust jacket is unclipped with minor chipping and is in very good  condition. 

This is a classic field guide and it would be an excellant addition to anyone's book collection.

The book is about 6-1/2" x 9-1/2" x 1-1/4", 327 pages, and about 2-3 lbs.+/-  with packaging.
