We don't recommend putting this on a bike rack, simply because the wind resistance will be great - this material is going to cause a lot of drag if you put it in the bike rack at the back of your car. This is really for storage and for transport in the back of a pickup!

This is the best way to protect your bike, even if you're just going a short distance. We see so many bike racks on the backs of cars, even on trucks, and we know that we feel ours is much more secure tucked INSIDE the bed of the truck! A typical good quality carbon fiber bike with carbon fiber wheels can be from $6,000 upwards, so this is a small price to pay to protect it. When traveling long distances too, through rainy weather - this is absolutely the best way to take your bike.
