Original hand-inked and -painted animation cel of Lucy Van Pelt was created and photographed in production of an animated film in the series of features and television shows made by the Melendez Studio based on the Peanuts comic strip by Charles Schulz. It is from one of the shows or features made in the 1960s or early 1970s; the reaction lines to the left of the figure were hand-drawn using a fine point grease pencil.

The cel is signed below the image by actress Angela Lee Sloan: "Angela Lee Sloan 'Lucy'." Ms. Sloan provided the voice of Lucy. A favorite of Charles Schultz, she became the voice of Lucy in The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show and Peanuts special.

The cel is set over a complementary color print of a Peanuts background painting. Studio notation "28 L-45" is written at lower right to mark the cel's place in the scene.

Certificate of authenticity is included.
