Plastic chess pieces / chessmen, Dubrovnik Style (wood imitation), weighted, felted with Roll-up chess board PVC STandard size

This set was designed and made for the 1950 chess olympiad in Dubrovnik (Yugoslavia), the idea being of removing religious symbols (king's cross & bishop's mitre). Originally were not weigted.

World champion Bobby Fischer bought a Dubrovnik set in 1970 and later proclaimed it his favourite chess set ever. Sadly, his set was later stolen.
