THIS RECORD IS FROM OUR PERSONAL COLLECTION. Well maintained.

*Because our clients are mostly jazz collectors and connoisseurs, as we are, we made it our policy to only sell vinyl that we grade in VERY GOOD PLUS (VG) condition or better. This vinyl is in our opinion a VG+, looks and plays great.

Record Grade VG+ = Very well maintained. ONE OWNER. Just listened to both sides of the whole album and it plays smooth. It is from our personal collection. Little to no surface noise at all. No distractions. Difficult to find this rare vintage stereo recording in such great condition. (see pictures)

Jacket Grade VG+ = Shiny, clean, well maintained. No staining. No seem splits. No writing. No tape. Has been kept in plastic. Glossy. Jacket is sturdy and VG+ condition. Small letter "D" stamped on back cover. A very clean jacket for a 53 year old album. One of our nicest covers. (see pictures)

Woodrow Charles "Woody" Herman (May 16, 1913 - October 29, 1987) was an American jazz clarinetist, alto and soprano saxophonist, singer, and big band leader. Leading various groups called "The Herd", Herman was one of the most popular of the 1930s and 1940s bandleaders. His bands often played music that was experimental for its time.
