A New Selection of Chalkboard Terramundi Ceramic Money Pots

These lovely money pots are from the Terramundi chalkboard collection. Terramundi money pots are hand thrown in Italy to a design which is over 200 years old and then hand painted in various gorgeous colours. These particular pots have the chalkboard border around the centre so you can customise and personalise them with your own message or savings idea. All pots come with chalk ready for you to personalise.

There is no way of removing the money you have saved once you have put your money in your pot. By long tradition a Terramundi money pot must be fed until it is full, at which time it must be smashed releasing both your savings and the fortune card which comes with every pot, whilst making a wish. A pot full of mixed silver can be expected to amount to around £200. It is then customary to replace the pot and spend the money on 'good things'.

The broken pots have various uses and make gorgeous holders for your candles, pens, plants and even a desk tidy. So your journey with your pot will never leave you. We recommend when breaking your pot inserting the 'claw' of a claw hammer into the money slot and levering upwards, in order to break the top.
