 This listing is for a lovely Alvin Sterling Silver sugar shell in the ORIENT pattern issued in 1910. The design features an ornate embossed design on front of handle with large cartouche for monogram (unused). Nice large bowl end with chased design on upper body in relief. On the back of the bowl is an unusual large engraved monogram "W" with dates "1895, 1870, 25" scattered within. Marked with the Alvin trademark stamp and "Sterling". The Alvin Silver Company was established in 1886 and is now a division of Gorham

Measures 4 7/8" long with the bowl being 1 3/8" wide and 2" long. Weighs 15 grams.

This nice sugar shell is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
