General

The Skar Audio SK-3500.1D is a competition grade, high performance, 3500 watt Class D mono block amplifier. The SK amplifier series was engineered to be nothing short of complete insanity, and is built utilizing the highest quality internal electrical components, including high speed MOSFET power supplies. Furthermore, this monoblock amplifier features a heavy duty aluminum heatsink, allowing it to operate cooler with extreme thermal efficiency. This amplifier also features important internal 4-way protection circuitry (thermal, voltage, speaker, and DC short) for maximum safe keeping. Adding to the list of competition grade qualities are the SK series advanced user controls, including: input sensitivity (6V - 0.2V), low pass filter (35 Hz – 250 Hz), subsonic filter (10 Hz – 50 Hz), phase shift (0 – 180 Degrees), and bass boost (0-9 dB). This amplifier is stable at a 1 ohm impedance load for normal and safe operation. Working Voltage: 8.5V-16V. Remote Gain Knob Included. 1/0 Gauge Power and Ground Input Terminals. Signal to Noise Ratio: 95 dB, Frequency Response: 15 – 270 Hz. Strappable: Yes. Internal Fuse Rating: 350 Amps.     Skar Audio is located in the heart of the manufacturing district in Tampa, Florida. Our headquarters is home to the proud staff of nearly 20 people, who are audiophiles themselves and love to serve our customers everyday. With our facility being over 17,000 sq ft, and featuring show rooms, testing rooms, a new product development center, as well our warehouse and offices; we are happy to offer tours to local or visiting enthusiasts and customers to show them what we are all about. We take the hands on approach in delivering value to everyone we deal with, and maintain an open door policy at the office.
