Please note that you must have a functioning valet switch and be able to locate it in the vehicle in order to be able to program this transmitter. 
The valet switch is either a silver toggle switch, a small black push button or a push-button that is built in to your LED indicator. Generally, in the case of the first two, it is located somewhere under the dash on the driver's side. The combo push-button LED would usually  be found somewhere to the left or right of your steering column. This all depends, of course, on what was done by the original installer of the system.
