Lagenandra Meeboldii Red​ - emersed

Lagenandra Meeboldii Red is an easy plant to care for. It forms a rhizome like the Anubias but needs to be planted in the substrate. It changes the colour of it's leaves base on the conditions in which it is grown. Under high light it can turn reddish - purple. Under lower light conditions they may grow green. Newly emerging leaves are light pink. Leaves usually are between 4-8 cm wide and plants could grow up to 20 cm. Lagenandra is a root feeder and would need nutrient reach substrate. It can be attached to the wood as well. In that case you will have to fertilise the water very well as it needs plenty of nutrition.

The colour depends on the fertilizers in which they are served. Plants will take their natural look in the aquarium. You will receive plants looking similar like on the photo (without pot, cup).

Plants which you will receives come from greenhouses or laboratory(in vitro) and some of them might be smaller or bigger than the final sizes shown on the listing. Don't be surprised that sometimes plants might not have roots or roots will be minimal. After planting in the aquarium, the plant will grow new roots within a few days.
