This is APC's SURT (RT stand for Rack or Tower) UPS offering which has models from 1KVA to 20KVA. It can be used either in a standard rack, or oriented on its side to stand near a desk. The front control panel detaches and rotates 90 so that remains oriented correctly. We normally ship configured as a tower but as above have the rack conversion components available - inquire for prices when ordering.
The UPS is an online topology unit that generates pure sine wave output.
The unit is cold start capable and the Runtime can be extended by adding additional cellbanks (48VDC). That is a big avantage for this UPS as many people need a high quality inverter for Solar array systems that work at 48VDC. The max cell capacity normally used with this UPS is ~4000VAH of capacity, but that is mostly limited by the UPS charger. You could apply a larger battery bank if the UPS is not the charging device. If adding very large cell banks or running at more than 50% load continuously then I'd recommend investigating additional cooling fans.
The units are second user and will have cosmetic signs of previous use. We professionally refurbish including paint touch up or complete respray. The grading is A-Grade which we class as as good as you can get without having new. You get the protection of the new batteries and 12 month warranty, and buying from a respected seller that specialises in UPS - so there is no risk to making this cost saving. You can see from our photographs that we have many UPS in stock and the associated facilities for working with them.

Under normal circumstances orders before 3PM are dispatched on the day of order. Large units / quantities may roll over to being dispatched the next day. Email if you need to be sure of when we can send an order. We try to meet all customer deadlines.
All of our consignments are sent fully insured on a 24 hour service with our carriers. We cover all problems that occur in transit. We can ship to the EU (transit time varies) and have experience packing and shipping to overseas destinations. The EU shipping costs are estimated only, please contact us for confirmation before ordering. We have experience sending these abroad, and normally ship the UPS in one box and the cellpacks in another. We have the packing materials to make sure that there are no problems in transit. Our warehouse is based in the UK. VAT is included in the buy it now price, and if you are VAT registered you will be able to reclaim this. VAT Invoices are sent automatically as a PDF file, via email, as part of our automated dispatch process. |
