This is a new bumper kit for Jaguar E-Type XKE Series 1 models 1961-66. The kit consists of 2 front bumpers, 2 rear bumpers, 4 over riders and bolts. We also offer a bumper kit for Jaguar E-Type XKE Series 1 and 1/2 models from 1966-68 with 2 front bumpers with grab-in pieces at an additional cost of $69 see above pictures 3 and 4 .IMPORTANT: for some reason Jaguar produced different types of mounting. Some bumpers are fixed internally, others externally. Some cars even have front internal fix, rear external fix and vice versa. Nobody seems to know why Jaguar did this, asit is not a development, nor is it age related. Therefore, please email details or photos of your car when ordering so that our sales team can determine the type you need. Stainless steel was chosen for the following reasons:1 never corrodes rust proof grade 304/1,4301/72 in case of dent or damage unlike chrome plated steel it does not require stripping and rechroming3 stainless steel allows for easy repair and repolishing in the hand of a professional4 it's a lot tougher than chrome plated steel bumpersThe bumpers are finished to a high mirror polish, just like chrome. The back of bumpers are acid etch primed and painted with ICI two pack paint in a cream tone.Delivery takes 2-3 weeks. Part: XKES1
